MacBook Pro 2016 15inch display problems - strange colours and is now displaying another page through what im looking at

MacBook Pro 2016 15inch screen going strange colours and now displaying another page through what im looking at. A very faint image of another open tab shows through all screens. Sometimes colours are strange and faded but when going through other pages and back to original, sometimes clears it and colours go back to normal. Tried all the calibration etc, doesn't do anything. Must be a software or hardware issue though.

Generally if a screenshot appears normal on another display/device, then it indicates an issue with the built-in Display Assembly. The screenshot is just the image generated by macOS before it makes it to the physical display.

You may want to make sure "Reduce Transparency" option is checked in the System Preferences/Settings under Accessibility---> Display. I doubt this is the cause since I think it would appear in the screenshots, but it would be worth checking.

maybe the photos attached show normal, in my screen I can see the girls face faintly showing through the goodie page. Ill have to take photos from phone and upload also. thanks
