Punch Home & Landscape Design Professional Version 21 Won't Run

After purchasing the subject software, i installed and entered the purchase key and registration information. The software did not subsequently run as expected. I attempted to run software again. The software icon bounced in the dock for a few seconds and then stopped without the software running. I reinstalled software with anti-virus program off, with no success. I am running MacOS Big Sur 11.7.9, the latest OS for my MacBook Pro. Does anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting the failure of the software to run?

FWIW, it's possible one of the many updates of Big Sur since 11.01 may require an update to Punch…

Done prior to purchase.

Macintosh® OS 10.14 through 11.01 or higher, Intel® Core™ Duo processor or faster, 256MB VRAM, 3.5 GB Hard Disk Space, 1GB RAM, DVD-ROM, 1024x768 millions of colors display resolution, keyboard, and mouse.

correct me if i'm wrong: MacOS Big Sur 11.7.9 and Quad Core i7, 16GB RAM should be good.
