Why when updating an app it shows someone else’s apple id even after signing out and signing back in
I try updating an app and it shows my mothers Apple ID instead of mine when mine is signed in

Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to download them, and will always require it to update.
You need to delete the App, and redownload it with your own Apple ID.
