I just bought an iPad Pro 2022 cellular version in Australia recently. The jbhifi staff told me I can put any SIM card in including Chinese SIM card. But after I put my Chinese SIM card into iPad, I can’t receive any messages. How can I fix that?

iPad is not capable of SMS. It can use a carrier SIM or eSIM for data, but not for cellular calls nor for SMS functions.

What do you mean you can't receive any messages?
What kind of messages? As pointed out above, it can't send or receive SMS or MMS messages. It's usable for data only.
