Some song samples in iTunes don't play, the arrow just spins and spins

I go to click on the "arrow" to hear the sample of a song in iTunes and most of the time it just spins and spins around never playing the song sample. There are some that will play while others won't. Once they don't play the first time, they still won't play after restarting and all of those precautions. Any help?

It does not happen when navigating to albums directly. Also: after using the music app for a couple of minutes, app behaviour gets weird. Scrolling doesn't work, opening an album doesn't work, .. Separate issue: syncing to iPhone 13 mini on iOS 26.1 does not go as expected: albums show correctly (ignoring above glitches) on the mac but on the iPhone it's as if 'album is a compilation of songs by different artists' gets undone, and all songs of a compilation become individual albums again. M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14" on Tahoe 26.1 Example 1: song numbering gets aligned to the middle of the song Example 2: normal behaviour at first Example 2b: going back to albums - songs disappear Example 3: Jackie Brown on the mac - one album Example 3b: Jackie Brown on the iPhone - three albums All ideas are welcome. I already tried deleting music cache and rebooting.

Apple music preview app skipping playlists The apple music preview app has randomly stopped working, anytime a try to play anything it just skips through the playlist/album without playing any music. This doesn't happen on the itunes app. I have already tried signing in and out, uninstalling and reinstalling my music, deauthorizing and authorizing and uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I was on the phone with Apple for over 45 minutes and even after he observed it happening on my computer (after restarting and all that stuff) he basically couldn’t help me and mentioned I should listen to the song on YouTube instead. Oh well.

Me too, so anyone have a fix for this or explanation? Can't listen to the sample, not going to purchase. Or go elsewhere, is that what Itunes wants?
