AirPrint stopped working on iPhone

Same problem here, Canon TR7520. Used to print from iPhone and Mac just fine. Now, will not print at all, keep getting “printer is busy” message. Printer is fine, will take print jobs from older PC no problem. Apple desperately needs to do something. Soon.

I just purchased a new canon printer G620 and AirPrint appears and then can’t find printer. I can see my printer on my network!

Tech support said it is an Apple issue and they have communicated with Apple about it.

We are still waiting for a fix.

Same here - my old printer worked using AirPrint before the apple IOS 17 update and because it was old on on its last legs I decided to just purchase a new one thinking that would fix the problem. No go I have just finished the setup of my new brother printer done all updates as suggested and the AirPrint still doesn’t work - the printer appears and then can’t find printer / won’t connect. This is clearly a problem that Apple needs to fix ASAP. It’s ridiculous that I cannot use AirPrint. APPLE FIX THE BUG PLEASE!

I have the same problem. I am used to printing form my Phone but some weeks ago it just stopped working. It's VERY frustrating that a feature that was excellent is now completely broken. Restarting the iPhone 13 mini and my wifi router makes no difference.

Apple has done it again ... maybe not just Canon Printers ... ?could be other mfgrs? - Apple will know [but probably not, read on] ... spent hours over the last 2 days working with Canon and Apple .. [Case ID: 102270926321] .... can print from MacBook Pro but not iPhone or iPad ... so i believe Apple owns this problem. seems like based on information in this trail this is a recurring issue. Apple please write a script to test this specific issue before rolling out any future update .... be a world class company!

So I have the same problem suddenly my iPhone 11 and my iPad is not connecting to my HP printer. So I bought a new printer and it still doesn’t work. Any new updates since April 16, 2024 on this issue. It is really frustrating because I need to print some important stuff now I can’t. I am tired of spending hours trying to figure this out. Please help!

Exactly! I can print from everything else except my phone! My sons did not do the update and can still print from their phones!!!

I’m going through the same exact thing. I updated my phone to the new iOS and now I can’t print. I can see the printer on my phone but when I go to select it, it won’t allow me to.

That sounds exactly like what I’m experiencing. Soooo frustrating!!!

If you guys suggest that one more time I will definitely switch! It is on your end!!!!!!

Also, I’ve updated to 17.2.1.

What I want to know is Apple going to fix this??? This is causing major issues with work and they are thinking of getting rid of iPhones!!! Hurry and fix this issue!!!
