I just transferred my data from old phone to a new phone and it says no sims and will not let me make or receive phone calls. How do I fix this please.
What does it mean and how do I fix it
My phone says No SIM card
Put a SIM card in it...
If you have a SIM card in it, and it's not working, contact your cellular carrier and get a replacement.
If you're getting a message that says you have an Invalid SIM, that means the phone is carrier locked. Only the carrier it's locked to can unlock it.
It means you have no cellular service.
Contact your carrier for help.
iPhone is giving message no simm available. Can’t make phone calls
Why is my phone saying no sims and I can’t call out at all
Read the previous posts for the answer.
Perhaps videos will work better.
Your phone MUST have a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) from your carrier installed in order to place and receive calls.
For nanoSIMs:

and for eSIMs:
iPhone Telephony 101:
A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) is required in every iPhone; or else it’s just a shiny handheld computer.
The SIM - which is provided separately by a carrier of your choosing - is what makes in a “phone.”
Install a nanoSIM or eSIM (only on newer phones) which has been provisioned by a mobile carrier.
