I need a larger Monitor (34in) for my (old) 2015, late MacBook Pro - Help, Please!

Hi,

As a UI / Graphic Designer and currently taking classes to further my Computer Science education - a 15" monitor is just not cutting it.

I have been looking at Monitors lately, but I don't know what my late 2015 MacBook Pro will support (when terms of monitor specs)

I have been looking at these, can someone that knows this information please let me know if I can connect my MacBook Pro to any of these monitors with no weird issues.

I also game, well I play one game. League of Legends.

Thank you guys so much!

for 2015 MacBook Pro in either 13-in or 15-in build-in display:

2nd Display Support: Dual/Mirroring* 2nd Max. Resolution:3840x2160 (x2*)

Details:* This model supports a simultaneous maximum resolution up to 3840x2160 on two external displays via Thunderbolt 2.

Alternately, it can support a single display up to 3840x2160 via Thunderbolt 2 and a single 1080p display at up to 60 Hz, 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, or 4096x2160 at 24 Hz via HDMI.

Those QHD displays you cited cost you all the performance of a 'true' 4K display, but only show the top half.

your direct HDMI port is, practically speaking, limited to 1920 by 1080 at 60 Hz. Lower refresh rates are unusable for moving pictures.

Thunderbolt 2 uses the same connector as Mini DisplayPort, so a cheap "just wires" adapter gets you [full size] DisplayPort almost directly.
