Is there any way to retrieve a lost/stolen Apple Watch?

Hello there. I really hope someone can help me out with this, if not, totally fine. Might have to find a hacker of some sort. Question being, I had lost my watch during the Ontario Convention back in May and someone recently turned on my watch for a brief second then turned it right back off because they saw the message saying “please call when found” yada yada yada, it has cellular so I thought messaging it would do the trick but they didn’t return it so now the watch is saying no location found.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Is there any way shape of form of retrieving my watch back even with the no location found? I assumed they factory reset but don’t they still need a passcode or a password to reset it right or am I wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Cynthia
