Why won’t the AirTag reset
I have followed the reset instructions and it still hasn’t reset.

If you followed the instructions (from the support article you arrived here from,) that Apple has provided, and you still cannot successfully reset them, then the AirTag's battery, or the AirTag itself, may be defective.
What exactly happens when you got through each of the steps in the support article?
