Set iPhone Camera to open with a default zoom level or lens

Users have been requesting this feature for years. As far as I can tell, I still need to swipe the zoom compass every time to reach 2x.

Some online tutorials and posts on Apple Discussions claim that a user can cycle between .5x, 1x, 2x, 2.5x, and 3x with just a tap. However, I have not found 2x and 2.5x on any model of iPhone. All I see is .5x, 1x, and 3x — never 2x.

Has anyone discovered a hack for this, perhaps with Shortcuts?
