Why was Weather Channel Data dropped? Weather forecasts have been consistently wrong since the change.

Thank you!
That explains it, it appears after the take over of Dark Sky, Apple's own weather app is now supported by this new infrastructure.
The Weather app's rain predictions are highly flawed, while the Weather Channel's app is just terrible.
Apple's app is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing but there is no point if the data is wrong.
I think it's partly teething issues with Apple having recently bought dark sky. The map didn't work for me before, so I just deleted the app. The same might work for you.
Nobody here works for Apple, and we are not privy to what Apple does or does not do. Do a Goggle search; perhaps there is some article explaining the switch.
BTW, support article states that the data is from the Weather Channel and NOAA. It might be outdated as the date is jJune 22:

This was my question:
Why was Weather Channel Data dropped?
I've provided feedback also, however, I'm curious as to why the data feed is no longer coming from the Weather Channel. Appreciate your reply. Hopefully you or someone else can shed some light on this.
The actual weather forecasts. Before the most recent update, all weather data came from the Weather Channel. After this recent update, the weather data / forecasts have been wrong and there is no reference as to where the data now comes from.
Are you referring to the actual forecasts, or the map showing the forecasts?
No problem mate!
New here as well?
