Why can I see my ex’s passwords in iOS16?

If I go to Settings > Passwords in iOS I can see accounts and passwords that my ex has set up. We share an iCloud family setup. He has never used my phone to login to something and I have never visited the sites he has passwords stored against.

So it must be an iCloud sharing thing? How do I turn it off or what setting does he need to switch off so that I no longer see his passwords in my list?

Hi ker932,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you can see your ex's accounts and passwords on your iPhone. If he ever used a computer or any device that has your Apple ID signed in then this could be why. If you've ever shared an Apple ID or if he ever signed in with your Apple ID on a device then these could be reasons as well. If you tap a specific account entry it will show you a "last modified" date to see when the password was last updated. Or you can swipe left on it and then tap "Delete" to delete it. This article provides more details about this: How to find saved passwords and passkeys on your iPhone.

We hope this helps.

Take care.
