Airdrop receiving but no sending

I have tried many different ways to solve this issue doing things like:

  • Reseting all the configurations
  • Excluding and then recording contacts
  • Turning off then turning on all the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections

But it is still not working properly.

The messa ge says: Preparing > and then waiting.... without sending any file.

The strangest part is that I can receive everything from everyone...........

Hi there flavio142,

If you haven't already, you can see if updating your iPhone 14 Pro Max may help resolve this unexpected AirDrop issue. If needed, below shows how:

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Those steps are from this article: Update your iPhone or iPad

When you mentioned that you reset all configurations, does that mean you toggled AirDrop to Receiving Off and then back on in Settings > General > AirDrop? We want to make sure we fully understand what steps you've already taken, so we can determine relevant next steps.

You'll also want to ensure that Personal Hotspot is turned off as well, as it can stop AirDrop from working properly. If you'd like, you can read more here: How to use AirDrop on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Let us know how those steps go or if you've already tried those.

Take care.
