Cracked screen

Hello, I cracked my device 'iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)' many years ago and am considering fixing it but would like to have a better idea of what the extent of the damage is. My device's screen has numerous cracks running threw it from top to bottom (on right side only) and text comes in blurrier at high resolution but close to normal at low res. There is no flickering, dark spots or other effects other than this. As someone who isn't particularly tech savvy I am wondering if this is purely a screen replacement or something else as well? Just weird that the display is equally blurrier at high resolution across the entire screen and not just where the cracks are. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided

Yes, but put in perspective that it is a 10 year old computer (which is about 80 in people years). It is no longer receiving system upgrades and that means that other software upgrades are likely going to be harder to find. The same may apply to peripherals such as printers. If you want to do a comparison, do a web search to see how much you would have to pay a model in working order. Frankly if I had $450 I would consider that a down payment on a Mac Mini. My only reason for keeping a model that year would be if I had mission driven software that wouldn't run on a newer system.
