Mail's left column width has shrunk since upgrade.

How can I widen this column so I can read it?

Column widths in Apple Mail keep changing on Ventura 13.1 When I re-open Apple Mail the column widths I set in my windows have changed.

Grab a hold of the divider and make the column width larger.

Same problem. If I move between mailboxes (drafts, sent, inbox, etc.,) the column widths keep resetting and narrowing despite constantly resetting them as you suggest. Any indication of a fix from Apple? Using Ventura 13 OS on Macbook Air
