Apple TV 4K 16.6

Apple TV apps, including ATV, Music, & Podcasts, (maybe more) have been intermittently unresponsive and will not load content on occasion. All Apple apps have been unreliable for about a week. Restarting doesn’t always fix the issue.

Is there a fix on the way?

How to resolve Apple TV app playback issues on LG TV? Using the Apple +TV app I can bring up the home page displaying all movies, series, and other content. After choosing a product to watch, it displays the icon that indicates the content is loading but the content doesn't appear. A message does appear saying "Unable to play. ESPN causing me to frequently restart my Apple TV 4th gen I bought an Apple TV 64 GB 4th gen in 2018. Over the last 2 months, it seems to be breaking down. To fix the issues, I have been restarting the Apple TV, almost daily. I’m not sure if the hardware is the problem. How do I troubleshoot this? Over the last 2 month, ESPN app: Won’t multicast games in ESPN+. When I try to play multiple games simultaneously, the app goes back to the home page. Sometimes it tells me the games are no longer available Sometimes it does this while trying to watch a single game. The problem is also happening on a second 4th gen box I only watch MLS on ESPN, and the problem seems coincidental with Apple announcing its long-term deal with MLS. Netflix, Amazon and HBOMax scroll poorly, i.e. the movie icons don’t appear, just black boxes. Thanks for any help, -mj

You would need to call Apple support so you can speak to a rep, they can run through things with you and if an issue is determined make sure they are acknowledging and investigating.

I have been unable to reproduce on my system and have not seen other reports. If you continue to experience then best to contact Apple support.
