You haven't really given nearly enough information for anyone to make an informed recommendation. Are you working for a company? If so, they may have certain requirements. Check with the IT department.

Microsoft Office for Mac has differences from Microsoft Office for Windows. For most people, that's likely not to be an issue. But, it might be for you.

Here's an article that describes some of the things you won't find in Microsoft Office for Mac:

If none of that matters to you, then a Mac is an option.

What is this payment gateway? Have you talked to the company to find out how it works on a Mac? If it's all web-based, this may not be an issue. But, if there's specific sofware involved, it might be.

If you're not working for a company but you're working for yourself, have you tried talking to people in similar lines of work to get their opinion?

At this point in the history of personal computing, the choice is often more one of personal preferences than anything else. Which platform do you like the best?
