I want my contact favorites to display mobile, not messages...how do I change it?

On my list of favorites on my iPhone, most show the name followed by "mobile". One of them says "messages" instead of mobile so that when I select it, it sends a text instead of actually calling that number. How do I change that to say "mobile" so I can call them instead of texting them?

iPhone 12, iOS 16

You need to remove that entry from Favorites and add them back, selecting the way you want that Favorite to work. A selection screen will pop up after you chose the person you want to add to Favorites.

Note that you can have the same person more than once, one for messaging and one for calling, for example.
