Unable to reset Apple ID password
It tried resetting my daughters Apple ID after trying to download an app for her and it failed. On her IPad, it would complain that the passwords did not match when trying to create the new Apple ID password, even though I tried a half-dozen new passwords. So then I tried retting her password from my iPhone using the Support app. I got to the same spot but instead of saying the new password didn’t match, I would hit next and nothing would happen. Next I’ll try the same on a different service provider, in case some security setting on my router is affecting this… but for now my daughter’s iPad is stuck in this state. [update] using the support app on my iPhone on a different service provider did not change the behavior. I would hit next after entering a new password twice and nothing happened.
