Apple TV+ subscriptions (or other Apple TV app in-app Channel subscriptions) are linked to an Apple ID account. It wouldn’t be available through other accounts (unless grouped in Family Sharing).

An Apple TV+ subscription would bring access to Apple TV+ catalog content, not other channels. Other services (shows not included in Apple TV+) will need their own subscription.
What show were you trying to watch? Maybe that points to a reason.
