AppleTV Remote causes random volume changes on Bluetooth paired Razer Leviathan speaker

Ever since I paired a Razer Leviathan speaker bar via bluetooth to my AppleTV (A1625, OS 16.5), hitting any button on the Siri Remote (2nd Generation) seems to tweak the volume on the speaker down at random times.

Example: I finish watching a show, and want to switch apps, but as I push buttons on the Siri Remote, the volume goes down one notch at a time, but not for all button presses. I can still control volume just fine with the volume buttons, but I can watch the volume bar drop a few notches every time I use a function on the remote. I end up having to adjust the volume every time I have to navigate apps or do anything, really. It's not every button press, either.

Best I can figure, the remote's IR is sending signals to the sound bar, and it's interpreting those signals as "volume down" sometimes. However, I'm not entirely certain of this.

I already tried blocking the black part of the remote (which I figure is the transmitter) with electrical tape, but it had no effect. Is there a way to do this software-wise? If that's even the problem?

The AppleTV paired to the Razer Leviathan is the only case I've ever seen this problem in; We have several other AppleTVs in our home (not paired to bluetooth speakers), and none of them do this.
