Remove Splashtop Remote Sound in Ventura OS?

I noted this thread Cannot remove Splashtop remote sound - Apple Community to get rid of Splashtop Sound but....

I didn't find Soundflower.kext in /System/Library/Extensions. Nothing in there was labeled "Soundflower" or "Splashtop"
I also didn't find it in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/SplashtopRemoteSound.driver

Is it possible it's kept somewhere else in Ventura? Any guidance on how I can find it?

This really is a painful unwanted guest on my system and I no longer have or use Splashtop at all....

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.3

I received a response from Splashtop and it worked! fwiw:

"Delete this path on the affected Mac: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/SplashtopRemoteSound.driver"

I just noticed after re-reading your OP, I just assumed you had actually installed soundflower based on the fact you were trying to find it. I think Splashtop support is your best bet.

You're welcome. Sorry, that is correct. I made the mistake of trusting the info in another article. I've never installed Soundflower so I can't help other than suggesting you contact Rogue Amoeba. The folks that distributed it for a time.

FWIW, according to the link you posted, "Soundflower.kext" is in "~/System/Library/Extensions", not "/System/Library/Extensions". Paste the first path into Finder > Go > Go to Folder…

Thank you. When I put in ~/System/Library/Extensions into Finder > Go > Go to Folder, I just get a beep and it doesn't go anywhere. I am the Admin on my computer. Any suggestions?
