Apple TV (3rd gen) question

I just want to ask if Apple TV (3rd gen) works on a ASUS monitor. Because I don’t have a PC for my monitor and I want to connect my old Apple TV to my monitor. But it keeps saying “out of range” so if anyone knows the resolution for it please tell me!

How to connect apple tv to display with thunderbolt I want to connect apple tv 4k to LG ultrafine 4k which provide only thunderbolt port. Is there any cable from apple or 3rd party to support?

If the monitor has HDMI-in with support for HDCP, then it should work.
