expanding calendar view

Putting my thumb and forefinger on the screen and moving them apart increases the size of the rows, bringing them back together makes the rows smaller. On my iPhone 11 Pro, I can get up to 14 hours on the screen. If that is not working for you, I would start by force quitting the calendar app. It may just have gotten stuck. Also, try restarting the phone.

I would note that this may vary by phone model with phones with different-sized screens allowing different numbers of rows. I cannot test what happens on an iPhone 11.

No need for that! I'm just curious if the size of the screen makes a difference in the behavior. It does for some things. In this case, it seems unlikely but, one never knows.
