cannot link Apple one music on mac book with playlists created on iPhone/Ipad

So since I signed up to apple one I can only ever listen to music added to playlists created on my iPhone or iPad never yet been able to get it to sync with mac book - spend more time faffing i might as well go back to microsoft these days apple make everything difficult used to be simple you could once simply do this not anymore same with apple tv can't pick up where you left off on a programme in one room to another on that either. Left microsoft years ago because of hassle and found apple more synchronised but losing interest in apple nowadays

See Use Sync Library to access your music library across your devices - Apple Support. This should allow your Mac to see the same content and playlists that you have on your iPhone and iPad.
