how to import audio book from cd

I would like to import audiobook CD into iTunes These are Mutiple CD compilations but come up as music tracks and since audio books are not on Grace notes there is no information on the tracks and CD. Do you have a primer how to import audiobooks into a private library?

Apple books will let me drop any music files into it and it will think it is a book but there isn't an ability I can find to actually create new files from discs to add to books. Import them into the Music app and sort them then import into Books.
