i have a couple of items on a jump drive I'm unable to open. when i click on them this is the message i get

It looks like you are double-clicking on a file (or maybe a just a folder?) and it is automatically launching the Terminal app for some reason. Maybe those items are damaged, or perhaps they are associated with the Terminal app? Try right-clicking on one of the files you want to open and manually select the app you want to launch to access that file. If this works, then you just need to re-associate the default app to open for that type of file.

You can't post a Link and then add a period.


It's not English, it's a computer command. Adding a period as if it's the end of a sentence makes the link not work. Without the period:


Use zsh as the default shell on your Mac - Apple Support


if instead, you leave off the period, you get this, and the forums build you a user-friendly title of the link.
