Well my screen on my macbook pro has these vertical lines on the left side of the screen however it still is working perfectly and nothing is broken so far, but i dont know how i got them do i have to go repair my macbook pro at the apple store and i have limited warranty, but what category does it fall under? or do they go away on their own

It is a hardware issue. The display /display assembly /cable connection is starting to fail. I would suspect it will get worse over time...
You can compare your results on an external monitor plugged in. External monitor comes direct from the GPU bypassing the internal display.
You can use it with out issue it if serves your purpose.
In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
