The article below says 5E135 is the latest firmware version for AirPods Pro (Gen 1 & Gen 2)

About firmware updates for Air Pods - Apple Support

Seems your AirPods firmware updates automatically if your connected iPhone (or Mac) has the latest update.

About iOS 16 Updates - Apple Support says iOS 16.6 is the latest update.

The AirPods update more quickly on a Mac (Eg: with MacOS 13.5 Ventura or later installed)

Else The firmware updates more slowly on iPhone:

Eg: Try leaving the Airpods connected to power overnight with the iPhone close by.

What has worked for me:

Connect your phone to a charger and WiFi. Connect your AirPods case to a charger.

Connect your AirPods to the phone, play something for a minute or more.

put the headphones back into the case, case near the phone.

Go away for about 20 minutes.

Make some coffee, walk around the block or whatever.

Check to see if they updated.
