Yes, in my experience, only American Express shows the most extensive transaction history, but they all seem to be limited to about 30 to 45 days. Many banks/credit card issuers do not support a transaction history at all.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to by Apple Pay Record.

But >some< bank cards support recent transactions history of approximately 30 days. A permanent record is not maintained.

Complete details of your transactions are maintained by the bank that issued and services the account (credit or debit card). You can access the details via the banks app or website.

I've just come to this issue, too, specifically with Discover Card. It appears, in Apple Pay, to only provide access to the current calendar month.

With Apple's branded card, you can access your whole history, effectively using Apple pay as a receipt record. With something like Discover, you only get somewhere between 1 and 31 days, depending on where you are in the month, and it doesn't appear to provide an option for looking past the month you're in.
