How to check transaction history on Apple Pay for non Apple Card transactions?

Trying to view transaction history on Apply Pay for Non-Apple Card transactions, and for more than the current month or latest transactions. I've read all the information on how to access transactions from Apple Pay, but what I can't do is find more than a few. I need a year's worth of data. How can I get that information?? This question appears to have been raised several times but I can't find any answers.

Apple doesn’t store or have access to that information. The transaction information that is displayed in the Wallet app on your iPhone is what the bank shares with you. Some banks display more information than others.

Bank statements typically have minimal transaction history and details. The bank’s website might have more complete information, as sberman suggested.
