It's hard to believe that Apple isn't capable to solve this random issue.

I've been having this problem in the past on MacBook Pro, now it happens on MacBook Air, but not on other mobile devices. It happens only once every couple of days to random emails. And none of the recommended solutions work, just like for most of other users.

How come Apple doesn't take this seriously. It's been an ongoing problem for years!

Turn Off Lockdown Mode on iPhone/iPad

1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Lockdown Mode.
2. Click Turn Off Lockdown Mode > Turn Off and Restart and enter your passcode if prompted.

Katcounselor, I have the same issue and would like to know: which step of Leroy Douglas's strategy fixed the problem?

I turned off lock down mode in settings/privacy on all my Apple products and this problem disappeared
