On iPad Pro running 16.6, Apple Pencil stopped working in Notes. Was trying to mark up a paragraph from an email I received that I'd copied/pasted into Notes. Googled and followed 2018 Apple Forum suggestion to remove Notes App, then re-install from App store. All 10 years? of notes are gone! Heart attack! But they are intact on iPhone. How do I get them to re-load onto iPad Pro?

Could you please confirm if you currently have your Notes set up to sync through iCloud?
You can check that by logging in the iCloud site and opening Notes: https://www.icloud.com/
If not, you'll want to sync them from your iPhone to iCloud and then enable Notes on your iPad as well. This can help with enabling that: Set up iCloud for Notes on all your devices - Apple Support
