When trying to log into my MacBook Pro the rainbow wheel starts spinning with no end

Hello! I tried to log into my Macbook Pro and it started loading, but the rainbow wheel started spinning. It hasn’t stopped loading. I’ve tried to forcefully restart it using Command and R, but it will not work. No buttons will work either. However the mouse (rainbow wheel) will still move when i touch the trackpad. Please help!! 😭

To force restart your Mac, hold the power button (Touch ID button) until the screen turns off. Then, turn it back on. If the issue continues, force restart your Mac again, but this time, keep holding the power button until you see "Loading startup options" under the Apple logo (). Click "Macintosh HD." Then, hold shift and click "Continue in Safe Mode." If the issue stops, then the issue may be caused by one of your login items.
