Can I have multiple songs play with an iPhoto memory?

I a memory I've created from an album and I'd like to have several songs play as background. I've figured out how to choose a single song from my Apple Music library, but the memory is longer than one song. I want to have a series of songs play so the song I've chosen to keep repeating.

This is a thank you memory for the hospital staff as my son is being discharged tomorrow after many months in the hospital and I want it to be really special for them.

I can add the track to a slideshow, but the slideshow doesn't seem to use the same timing as the memory... it plays longer clips fo the videos and the whole thing doesn't feel as smooth as with the Memory. Any tips?

Do I need to edit down every video? In the memory it would just show a couple of seconds of each. The slide show is showing the whole video, although i've set the slideshow to the same amount of time as the memory ran for.

To use several songs as a backing track to a memory, you would have to create a slideshow project from the items in the memory. For a slideshow project you can create a playlist of several songs.

  • Add the photos from the memory to a new album.
  • Select all photos in this album with ⌘A
  • Now use File > Create > Slide show > Photos
  • Select a theme and select music using the sidebar to the right of the slideshow pane.
