Problem in establishing a connection smoothly of Ethernet connection .

"I have an Amazon Basics adapter that I'm using to connect an Ethernet network to my MacBook Air (M1, 2020). However, it doesn't seem to establish a connection smoothly. Often, I need to make multiple attempts of plugging and unplugging the adapter, which takes up a lot of time. This issue occurs consistently whenever I try to plug and unplug the adapter. I am seeking assistance in identifying the problem and would greatly appreciate a solution to resolve this matter
