I got two banners stating my system was hacked, but can't find it elsewhere. What is the next step?

Two banners with the system setting icon flashed onto my desk top stating my system was hacked. Can't find it anywhere else. What is the next step?

These "popups" are likely phishing attempts to get you to reveal personal/financial information to a scammer. Are these "banners" displayed in your browser? If so, turn off notifications in your browser. If these notifications are from some third party antivirus app you installed, uninstall the app.
