AppleTV caption font size is at 36pt and is too large, how can i adjust to a smaller font? I have tried different font styles and 36pt is the smallest size. This problem occurred a few days ago and won’t go away. Prior to this font size was small but readable.

If you want the captions on your Apple TV to be smaller, make sure you are looking in the right place in Settings. You should see these options in Accessibility > Subtitles and Captioning > Style > Edit Style. You can edit a current style or create a new one. Either way, under font, you should see an option for size providing options for extra small, small, medium, large, extra large.

There are 5 sizes to choose from on the Apple TV box (4th generation or later). From Extra Small to Extra Large.

Well I went back to the basics. Unplugged the tv for 18 hours. This morning my menu is now featuring the Subtitles and Captioning feature! And I was able to adjust the font size. Thank you everyone for your help. btw. This problem appeared after we lost power in the house for close to 28 hours. Can’t tell if it’s relevant but thought to add it here.

With this option missing, what we'd recommend doing is to contact Apple Support so that Apple can look into this directly with you.

i don’t have the option for Subtitles and Captioning under Accessibility. I get to Font and to Text Size via Hover Text which, obviously, not work. App is at tvOS 16.6. Reviewed your link for more info but none of it addresses the problem at hand. And thanks for your response by the way.
