Go to the People view, double click on the Person to open the page with the slide show and summary array of photos, single click on "Show More" to show the larger array of photos. You then have the full panoply of selection tools including:

  • Select all photos with menu command Edit > Select All (or fan-A on the keyboard)
  • Select a range of photos by clicking the first photo then shift-clicking the last
  • Select a rectangular subarray by clicking in white space and dragging a selection rectangle around the wanted photos
  • Add or remove a photo from the selection by command-clicking on it

Use whichever selection tools you usually use on such groups of objects.

Once done selecting photos and while the photos are still selected, you can use File > Create > Book > XXX to start editing the photo book, where XXX is whichever book-creation app you have downloaded from the App Store (using File > Create > Book > App Store...). Copies of the photos you selected should be forwarded to your chosen app for layout.
