Battery replacement

Hi, I’ve had my iphone 5se 128gb now for ages and is the best I’ve ever had, love the small size and does everything as far as I’m concerned, my question is; should I replace the battery, or is that not such a good idea for example, maybe apple will not support it for much longer and it won’t work on all the apps???

For the iPhone 5S, It's allready end of the line. iOS will not update past iOS 12.5.7

But if you have an iPhone SE, the first gen can run iOS 15, which is rather recent but not the newest iOS.

The 2020 en 2022 SE can update to the latest iOS version.

So, what I should do is depending on your iPhones age. If it is a second or third gen SE with the latest software: go for the replacement

If it is the first gen SE with iOS 15, you can do it, but there will be a time that apps require newer iOS then iOS 15, but for now, you're good

If it is an iPhone 5S? Don;t do it, that iPhone is way too old
