iCloud drive not consistently syncing

Have several devices that sync with iCloud drive with same apple id. At times there appears to be a very slow or delayed syncing of items across all the devices. (lasting a day or so). Other times it's almost instant. Internet connections are pretty solid. But some sit behind "managed" networks (like at work). Could this interfere with syncing?

Hello Lake Nogebow,

While this resource covers the recommended settings for routers and access points, you may not be able to review or access those particular settings on a work or other managed network: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support

So some additional details may help to isolate this further.

Approximately how often does this behavior occur?

Does this appear to occur more often when your devices are connected to a managed network?

Do you experience any difficulties with syncing other items like contacts via iCloud when this occurs?

Let us know, and we'll keep moving forward based on that information.

Hi Lake Nogebow,

Thanks for those details.

Also, let us know if you get any specific alerts or error messages with iCloud, as those may help us determine what might be causing the issue.

We also recommend restarting your devices and keeping them updated as those steps assure you have cleared out any minor software issues and are running the most current version.
