When I try to trim a video, I receive an error that indicates that "there was an error loading this video".

I have a video that is 30 minutes long that I need to trim to just the last 5 minutes. Every time I try to do this on my iPhone, I get a popup that says "Cannot Edit Video, There was an error loading this video" but doesn't give me any indication or hope this may change. It comes up immediately like it isn't even trying to load it. My internet is fine, we regularly stream movies with no problems.

I also tried to edit it on my macbook but there just isn't an option to trim the video. No timeline appears or anything.

I'm able to play the video just fine.

I'm really lost here and I don't know what to do.
