Fingerprint Limit Reached

I have multiple users on my mac and when I was setting up a new account it said that the fingerprint limit was reached. I thought this was based on user account. Is there any way to fix this?

Fingerprint Problems with iMac Pro My Mac is a iMac Pro with 8 Core Xeon, running Sonoma 14 iOS. I am using an Apple keyboard with Fingerprint sensor. I am not able to set the fingerprint on the computer. When I go under the System Settings I am not able to find the Touch ID system for use with my Mac. Any Ideas?

Login TouchID not working The fingerprint TouchID to log in to my iMac has stopped working. Passcode is OK, and the fingerprint works for logging in to websites, etc. I tried restarting the iMac which has worked in the past, but that hasn't helped now. In addition, all the options in the TouchID preference panel are grayed out except the one to delete my fingerprint, with no obvious way to un-gray them. I'm reluctant to delete my fingerprint until I know that I can replace it. Any thoughts as to what might be the problem? Thanks, Paul.

"If your Mac or Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, the sensor is located at the top right of your keyboard. You can add up to three fingerprints to your user account (you can save up to five fingerprints on your Mac).".

So I would have to say you can't fix it if you've saved 5.

I defined the fingerprint in the settings but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

It does not work anywhere from the Mac environment
