Scam Likely shows for my number

The "scam likely" label comes from the carrier, not Apple. Each phone carrier keeps a list of numbers they determine to be spam risks based on the history of the number, crowdsourced feedback and complaint data, and reputational analytics. Some of the most common reasons for getting a spam flag include:

1. The volume of outbound calls per day, per number, is high.
2. Someone flagged a call from your number in their carrier’s network database (perhaps before you even bought that new number).
3. The Outbound Caller ID number is not set properly in the invite and if invalid or incomplete, may be marked as spam automatically.

What does making a call from a landline have to do with Apple to begin with? A landline is not your cellphone. And Apple doesn't provide cellular services either. Whoever you get cellular services from is responsible for your phone number, not Apple.

Apple isn't labeling it at all. That's coming from either your cellular carrier or the carrier of the person you're calling.

Talk to your carrier about it.

And do a little research before you make ridiculous accusations.

What's wrong with Apple?

Not so fast to place blame. Nothing is wrong with Apple in this case. The issue that you are reporting is a carrier issue.....not an Apple issue.

So, you need to substitute "your carrier" for "Apple" in the 3 questions that you ask.
