The login windows keeps closing on its own

When trying to transfer photos to Google photos the login windows comes up and closes automatically.

Can't access Photos or Drive on PC I'm trying to access my iCloud photos and Drive on my Windows 11 PC. After I sign in to icloud.com, then click the Photos or Drive icon, one of three things happen: 1) Apple will prompt to allow access, which I grant, but then the browser will once again show the sign in screen. Then I'm stuck in an infinite loop of sign-ins. This seems to mostly happen on Chrome. 2) I finally manage to sign in and get to the main screen with apps. I click on the Photos or Drive icon. The browser will show its message about getting access, which it will from my iPhone. But then I get a message about an error trying to get the files. 3) Or, the browser will show this message: "Can’t Display Your Photos - There was no response to the request sent to your devices. Your photos can’t be displayed until you grant iCloud.com access from one of your devices." I had not gotten any prompt/message on my iPhone. But I'll try clicking the "Send New Access Request" link below that, but nothing happens on either browser or iPhone. I've been stuck on this for over a week. Any suggestions for getting access to my files is appreciated.

Jpeg file in Login items not opening at log in, returns error message. I have a jpeg file from a screenshot that I have made and entered in "Open at Login" This file will not open and returns the following message "The file "xxx.jpg couldn't' be opened because you don't have permission to view it. To view or change permissions, ..etc." The permissions for this file are set to Read & Write for me(the administrator), and everyone. If I am missing something please enlighten me. All other files in Open at Login work correctly. Thanks

white box user picture login screen Hi, Thanks for reading this, I notice that after a restart, there are white boxes inside of my user picture as it appears on the login screen. If I login to the user account, and then log back out, I notice that the white boxes no longer appear on the user image. They are only visible after a restart. Does anyone know anything about this or how I should handle this? Many thanks.

Hi wasimlhr,

Let's start off by trying to power off your iPhone to help fresh the apps and settings. This process can help fix these types of issues. Here's how:

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.

3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Once your iPhone is powered on again, try the process again.

If more help is needed, let us know if the login window appears on the Google Photos app or where it happens.
