I am trying to upload videos in mp4 format to iCloud on my Windows PC for sharing with friends on Mac/iPhone accounts. I am getting error messages that only jpeg files can be uploaded and that files must be smaller than 100 MB.

If you are using the iCloud website, you'll instead want to use the iCloud for Windows application: Add photos and videos to iCloud from your Windows computer - Apple Support
With iCloud for Windows, you can use your Windows computer to upload photos and videos to iCloud Photos. Your photos and videos are visible on any device that has iCloud Photos turned on.

One thing we want to confirm is if you are using a Managed Apple ID. The reason we want to be sure is because iCloud for Windows doesn't support Managed Apple IDs.

That error could be caused by software on your PC or your network preventing connection to the authentication server.
We'd recommend temporarily disabling any anti-virus, security software, or VPNs you may be using to test to see if you're able sign into iCloud for Windows after that. Thanks for the response and for trying to help. I have tried repeatedly to get iCloud for Windows. I download the program and open it. It asks for a verification code. I get it by text, enter it, and get the following error message:
"An error occurred during authentication. Please try again."
This error is on a repeat loop and I get it over and over again, over multiple days.
I am not using a Managed Apple ID, just an individual account.
