icloud calendar has deleted months of events at a time.

Trying to use my calendar to check on some events from a year ago, only to find those events are all missing. A few months from the previous year are just wiped. Also happened a year before, for some strange reason I'm getting several months worth of events deleted for the last three years. Has this happened to anyone else? Any idea what could cause this? Its not just on my devices, they're all linked to icloud, and its backup only goes to the last 10 days. Also, it seems my timemachine backup doesn't contain a calendar backup...... Thanks for any help.

Hello musiciscool1,

If you're missing items in your iCloud Calendar, you can try using these steps to recover them:

1. On iCloud.com, click the App Launcher button in the toolbar, then click Data Recovery.
2. Click Restore Calendars.
3. Available versions are listed by the date and time they were archived.
4. To the right of the version you want to restore, click Restore.
5. There may be more versions than can be displayed. Scroll to see them all.
6. Note: Wait until iCloud finishes restoring your calendars before you change them. During the restore process, any changes you make aren’t saved.
7. If you had shared calendars, reshare them and ask other people to reinvite you to share their calendars and reminder lists. See Share a calendar on iCloud.com.

Restore your calendars and events on iCloud.com

If that doesn't recover them, then you'll want to contact Apple to see if they have any other ways to potentially recover them: Get Support

Cheers!
