You'll either need an Airplay-enabled TV, or connect your MacBook Pro with a display cable. If you have an HDTV and a Mac with a Thunderbolt port, Mini DisplayPort, or HDMI port, you may also be able to play audio from your computer on your TV. See Use your TV as a display with Mac.
You'll need macOS Ventura or later to connect wirelessly. See Connect a display, TV, or projector to Mac.
