SOS isn’t a “mode” as much as it is a “status.”
It means that your phone doesn’t “see” your carrier, but DOES still “see” another path thru which it can make an emergency call.
Assuming that you are within your carrier’s service “footprint” … you’re probably going to need to contact your carrier for assistance.
